Asymmetric strenght training and its impact on maximal strenght
Bouchal, Martin ; Jebavý, Radim (advisor) ; Blažek, Dušan (referee)
Title: Asymmetric strength training and its impact on maximal strength Objectives: The aim of my bachelor's thesis is to compare the impact of asymmetric and symmetric strength training on the development of 1RM in the bench press and deadlift exercises. Methods: Sixteen female participants took part in the research, who were divided into two groups, Experimental Group 1 and Experimental Group 2. Experimental Group 1, with n=8 participants, performed asymmetric strength training for a period of ten weeks. Experimental Group 2, also with n=8 participants, performed symmetric strength training for the same duration. After completing the intervention strength program, a post-test measurement was conducted, followed by the evaluation of the results. The data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and the significance of the results was assessed through ANOVA and Cohen's effect size coefficient. Results: On average, the group that underwent symmetric strength training showed greater improvement in the bench press exercise. Conversely, the group that performed asymmetric training demonstrated greater improvement in the deadlift exercise. Conclusion: The results indicate that asymmetric training can also have its justification in strength and conditioning preparation. Asymmetric loading can be...
The effect of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation on the dynamic stability of the lower limbs among the female softball players
Borůvková, Kristýna ; Srbová, Radmila (advisor) ; Froňková, Eliška (referee)
The bachelor thesis focuses on dynamic stability in junior softball players and examines the possibilities of influencing it with interventions based on proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation. The theoretical part of the work defines basic concepts, the practical part consists of a professional study. The female players of the selected sample were divided into experimental and control groups and their dynamic stability was measured by the Y-Balance test. The results were subsequently compared with the standardized deviation, which shows the limit of the risk of injury to the lower extremities. The measurements performed neither confirmed nor disproved whether it is possible to influence the dynamic stability of the lower limbs using proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation.
Asymetric strength training and its effect on deep stabilization system
Koželská, Kristýna ; Jebavý, Radim (advisor) ; Blažek, Dušan (referee)
Title: Asymmetric strength training and its effect on the deep stabilization system Objectives: Comparison of the effect of asymmetric strength training on the deep stabilization system versus symmetrical strength training. Methods: Before and after the research, all subjects underwent tests focused on the deep stabilization system. They were tested by a physiotherapist. Were used tests from prof. Pavel Kolar (diaphragm test, abdominal press test, trunk flexion test, extension test, hip flexion test and intra-abdominal pressure test). Furthermore, tests were performed with the Pressure Biofeedback Unit (supine test, prone test). Results: We noted that the group that performed asymmetric strength training achieved a greater improvement in HSS than the group that performed symmetrical strength training. Key words: softball, asymmetry, strength training, deep stabilization system, offset training

The secondary data collection was conducted as an analysis of the specialized texts on management and project management of the sporting event. Results: The results of the study provide a...
Možnosti kompenzačního cvičení pro mladé hráče softballu do 20 let
ABBRENTOVÁ, Tereza
The bachelor thesis "Possibilities of compensatory exercises for young softball players under the age of 20" scrutinises the most common muscle imbalances deals with softball players and and how they can be dealt with through compensatory exercises. Athletes are often subject to high demands and excellent performance and results. For this reason, they often do only unilateral sports and have other exersises. However, long-term unilateral burden without proper compensation has detrimental effect on the individual's musculoskeletal system. One of the many examples of asymmetric load is softball. The first goal of this bachelor thesis was to map the most common muscle imbalances occurring in young softball players. The second goal was to create an educational brochure containing compensatory exercises. The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical characterizes softball, overloaded structures and the most common injuries. Furthermore, it maps the possibilities of compensatory exercises. The practical part took place in the form of qualitative research and includes case studies of four softball players under the age of 20. Compensatory exercises were compiled on the basis of anamnesis and kinesiological analysis. The foundation of the exercise unit was very similar very similar, some exercises were added individually according to the needs of the proband. After 2-3 months of regular exercise, the results were evaluated using a kinesiological analysis that included the same tests as at the beginning. Subsequently, the results were compared and the effect of therapy was evaluated. This thesis can serve as a source of information on the most common functional problems that young softball players usually encounter. Furthermore, it can also serve as an educational material for softball players and coaches.
